Accelerated Reader

 

Each marking period students set reading goals with me.  These are based on them reading 30 minutes a day and their reading level, determined by a STAR test.  Students receive a class grade based on the percentage of the goal they met.  If they exceed their goal, the additional points count as extra-credit.

 

AR tests can only be taken in school, however, books can be obtained from anywhere.  Check your book to see if their is an AR test below.
