What does it look like?

 

• Read to get the gist of a story or an article.

• Circle words that I do not know.

• Read the text again to better understand it

• Annotate to help me better understand.

• Cite evidence from the text to answer questions.

• Use context clues to figure out words I don't know.

• Talk with others about what I think it means.

• Summarize the passage to show my understanding.
